Tara came back to us at three years of age and terrified of storms. Together we managed by sitting up with her in her kitchen ( we were privileged to be allowed to use this room which Tara claimed to be solely hers) and she coped very well for a number of years but with age, her fear became worse.

In January 2001 after a sudden very hot day of 43 Celsius, followed by hours of electrical storms, Tara collapsed. Our vet did all he could but she passed away quietly here at home after a final tail wag as a good-bye.

Tara and Sultan did the shows together for many years, a beautiful pair of chows who will always be very special and who leaves a very large gap in our lives.

There are others who have gone before:

Chinka, Una, Kuai, Cassie, Frankie, Kimi, and the boys Lonnie, and Sebastian

All so special, so individual and each with their own story to tell, and each leaving behind their own heartbreak at their passing.
